Ritual Psychotherapy is a small, private practice in New Canaan, Connecticut, founded by Jill Tobin, LCSW. In-person sessions are offered locally, with virtual care available throughout Connecticut and New York for adults and young adults.
Clients are welcomed into a calm, private space—one that invites a slower pace and a different kind of attention. Within this intentionally small practice, care is thoughtful, individualized, and deeply personal, offering room to reflect, process, and gently make sense of what feels complex or unresolved. Over time, this work supports a growing sense of clarity, steadiness, and connection—bringing inner experience and daily life into closer alignment.
Many clients arrive navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship dynamics within full, complex lives. At the same time, many carry deeper or longstanding experiences—depression, trauma, substance use, or a sense of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others.
Hi, I’m Jill, a therapist and the founder of Ritual Psychotherapy in New Canaan, Connecticut. My style is warm, collaborative, and gently direct, with space for curiosity, honesty, and humor. Some days call for tools and structure; others simply call for space to exhale. Both belong here.
My work is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy and shaped by both clinical training and real-life understanding. Together, we look at the patterns and perspectives shaping your life, deepen awareness, and support meaningful, lasting change—not through fixing, but by helping you move forward with greater clarity, presence, and intention.
I work with thoughtful, capable individuals who are often carrying a lot—navigating life transitions, relationships, parenting, anxiety, and the quiet pressure to keep everything together. Therapy offers a place to set some of that down, without having to hold it all on your own.
A private, thoughtfully held space to meet you where you are. Together, we deepen insight into patterns across thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while cultivating practical skills that support meaningful, lasting change.
